Description

Our vibrant orthodontic practice in Mansfield, TX is seeking a full-time team member who embodies intelligence, Strength, and enthusiasm. As part of our close-knit team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. Serving as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and facilitating a positive experience from initial inquiry through treatment completion. While representing our practice, providing exceptional patient care, and fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities: 1. Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general information. Provide accurate and detailed information to patients. Address patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. 2. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Manage the appointment calendar, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate patient needs and availability. Confirm upcoming appointments patients via phone, email, & text (3-point contact). 3. Administrative Support: Assist with patient onboarding, including gathering necessary personal and insurance information. Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure adequate stock levels. 4. Patient Education and Communication: Communicate effectively with patients regarding progress updates, and follow-up appointments. 5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Communicate patient needs, preferences, and concerns to relevant team members to facilitate optimal treatment outcomes. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills. Must attend practice community activities typically 2-4 times per year averaging 8-12 hours per year Qualifications: Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, Excel and experience with practice management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
