Our established private practice is looking to add a front office assistant to our awesome team. The candidate for this position must be a detail oriented self starter with strong communication skills, have a welcoming demeanor and a genuine care for people. The job responsibilities for this position will include but may not be limited to the following: *Greet patients at check in/check out. *Answering phones. *Addressing patients questions/concerns on phone and in person. *Verifying insurance. *Scheduling for Doctor/Hygiene. *Entering and presenting treatment plans. *Posting/processing patient and insurance payments accurately. *Sending and entering pre.tx estimates and claims with follow up w/ insurance company and patients as needed. *Working aging reports as needed. *Handling office email and helping with various other front office tasks. Requirements: Candidate MUST have a minimum of 2 years dental front office experience, be well versed in dental terminology and procedures, and have a general understanding of how insurance works for an out of network provider. Working knowledge of Dentrix software is strongly preferred. Please note that this is not a management position.
