Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our privately owned Holistic based dental practice. We are a small, low volume, and high quality office, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to our patients. We are paperless, digital, and utilize the latest technology, including intra oral cameras, CBCT, Ozone therapy, microscopes, CEREC, and more! As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure the highest level of patient care. Duties: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing - Take dental x-rays (digital) - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, periodontal charting, and new patient charting - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral healthcare instructions - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software (Open Dental) - Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experience Requirements: - Valid North Carolina dental hygiene license - Proficient in performing dental hygiene duties - Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Ability to accurately assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans At our practice, we value teamwork, professional growth, and providing exceptional care to our patients. We offer $45-$55/hour based on experience, benefits package, and a pleasant work environment. 2 hour new patient appointments, 1 hour recall appointments, and 2 rooms to work out of so you are not running behind!
