Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our family oriented team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. Duties: - Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations - Take dental radiographs (x-rays) - Assess patients' oral health conditions and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Requirements: - Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state] - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficient knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and oral health conditions - Strong patient assessment skills, including the ability to measure vital signs and interpret medical imaging results - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
