The Risky Business of our impact on patient oral-systemic health will be reviewed. Oral health is a window to systemic health. As dental clinicians, we play an important role in recognizing disease and maintaining oral health. This course will review key indicators of oral disease and potential systemic consequences of not treating.

Objectives:
– Review the basic concepts of oral-systemic health
– Evaluate the importance of a detailed medical history review and effective patient communication
